Curb Machine Operator

Responsibilities

As a Curb Machine Operator:

• Understand how to covert mules for specialty jobs
• Assure machine is properly set-up for the job
• Work with foreman to determine what can/cannot be done with the machine (especially on parking lots)
• Work with Foreman to ensure string line is ready & has not been tampered with
• Double checks machine set-up before pouring
• Pours at a pace to assure production & quality requirements are met
• Keeps mules clean & rust free
• Keep machine clean
• Maintain inventory of spare parts & tools
• Will get familiar with the factory representative to keep parts available
• Perform periodic maintenance
• Reports maintenance problems to the Foreman & then mechanics
• Takes proper care of the tractor-trailer
• Assists Foremen when required
• Majority of field work, may be on your feet most of the working day, may require some heavy lifting, some operation of equipment may be required
• Reading, writing, basic math skills
• Basic mechanical skills
